Technology Statement
EquiWatch is committed to ongoing efforts to maintain the highest technical standards for our web site. Please email your technoloy questions or ideas directly to our webmaster.

System Requirements

The EquiWatch web site is optimized for the latest generation of browsers (Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or later, Netscape 6 or later, Opera 6 or later) with a suggested minimum screen resolution of 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels high, and a color depth of 16 bits per pixel. Certain older browsers, smaller screen resolutions and lesser color depths, are acceptable, but the suggested minimums will insure the best viewing experience.

Browser Compatability Issues

We are currently aware of the following specific issues with certain browsers, and while we are working to correct these issues, they are in some cases, simply foibles of certain browsers, for which there are no current workarounds. Where we have not been able to address certain issues, we have provided our comments for you to consider, if you experience these problems.

    Development Philosophy

EquiWatch supports the latest standards in cross-browser technology, and is committed to the efforts of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) to advance the Internet as an interoperable forum for information management. The EquiWatch web site has been validated against the current HTML 4.01 Transitional and CSS 2 specifications, and we will continue to update, as necessary, our site to maintain these standards as technology progresses in the future.

    Valid HTML 4.01!       Valid CSS!

    Current Development

We are currently working on the Gold membership, developed specifically for competetive enthusiasts. Numerous new features will be added that will enhance the Gold members ability to manage information normally used and maintained by showing or racing participants. The Gold membership is being developed as an 'overlay' to the Basic membership, so any data already in the system will be accessed exactly as it is now, with the new features integrated into the current interface.
